This is a mid-19th century embossed 15K gold and carnelian intaglio seal.
It features embossed images of dogs and foliage in solid gold, perhaps reflecting its previous owner over a century ago who loved hunting and the outdoors.
The base is set with a carnelian intaglio and carved with a stag and a coat of arms.
A fascinating, highly collectible piece!
