Description
Snakes were a popular motif in Victorian jewellery.
To the Victorians they represented eternity and everlasting love, so were often incorporated into engagement and wedding rings.
This is a rare mid-Victorian cluster ring modelled in 15K gold with unusual snake-shaped shoulders.
It is set with a cluster of natural split pearls and cabochon cut emeralds.
A collector’s item – or perfect as a unique engagement ring.
