A remarkable 19th century 15k gold locket.
This double sided locket incorporates a genuine Georgian gold guinea dated 1792, the reverse set with a plain polished carnelian.
The locket opens on a hinge to reveal a glazed compartment for a photo or other sentimental item.
Very very cool piece.
